Sarah Torkoly – Lead Assistant
Although recently joining Sheldon Casavant Productions as Lead Assistant
and choreographer, Sarah has been a dancer and performer since the early
age of three. She has trained extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, modern,
and hip-hop with Shelley's Dance Company in Edmonton, Alberta. In addition to
Sarah's dance training across Canada, she has also attended workshops in
Los Angeles and New York.
Having received top honors at Dance Power Competitions over the past 14 years, Sarah was named Dancer of the Year in 2006.
Sarah is also heavily involved in choreography, teaching dance, and singing. She has recently founded an Edmonton-based dance performance company called G6 Entertainment. Sarah has received vocal training from Wes Inaba, and advanced to the semi-finals of the recent Canadian Triple Sensation competition in Vancouver. Other highlights include performing with Weird Al Yankovich and Tommy Lee, and traveling extensively across Europe, Mexico, and the United States.
